Changzhou Modern Fence Co., Ltd. (CMF) is a privately owned manufacturing company that produces and markets polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products, with particular concentration on PVC fences. Other PVC products include window and door profiles and water and cable pipes.
CMF was founded in 1992 by Jigen Xu, the Chairman of the company, in the City of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, north of Shanghai. The construction boom of early 1990’s brought many PVC startups in the region. CMF is one of the more successful manufacturers that withstood the fierce competition in the industry that followed. The past few years have seen phenomenal growth in sales, with annual growth rate of over 20%.
The industries it now serves include residential construction, home improvement, commercial construction and telecommunication infrastructure. CMF products are sold to domestic customers in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Anhui. Leading companies such as China Telecom and China Netcom are among CMF’s customers.
CMF also serves the international market. Chinese conglomerate China International Investment and Trust Company (CITIC) procured CMF’s PVC products for its construction projects in Africa. CMF is actively pursuing the US market. It is fully authorized to conduct international sales by itself and perform export tasks in-house, including customer service by English-speaking staff.
